PASTURE-RAISED LAMB & SHEEP SKINS

We sell lamb by the whole and half. We hope to have our lambs reach 100 lbs. before we send them off to processing. Lambs are priced by carcass weight. A 100 lb. lamb will have about a 40 - 50 lb. hanging weight. Lamb is priced at $9.00 / lb. based on hanging weight. Your lamb will come back in an assortment of cuts including burger, stew meat, chops, ribs, shoulder steaks, shoulder roast and leg roasts. If you have special requests we can work with you and our butcher to accommodate.
Our lambs are born and raised here on the farm. They stay with their mothers for about 8 to 10 weeks, we graze them as a separate group after that and will keep them here generally until mid November. Lamb is available by the whole or half, we also sell lamb out of our Farmstand when supply allows in the late summer / fall.
Each year we received back all of the lamb skins that we sent to get processed. We are offering these now at our farm store and at the Midcoast Winter Farmers Market in Topsham Firday afternoons through April.
